Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Arundel in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (917 people or 17.6%)
  • Retail Trade (535 people or 10.3%)
  • Education and Training (495 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,947 people in total or 37.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Pacific Pines - Gaven employed 16.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.1% in Retail Trade; and 7.6% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Arundel and Pacific Pines - Gaven were:
