Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Surfers Paradise - North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Accommodation and Food Services (460 females or 16.5%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (458 females or 16.5%)
- Retail Trade (302 females or 10.8%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,220 females in total or 43.8% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Oxenford - Maudsland employed 7.2% in Accommodation and Food Services; 24.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 12.6% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Surfers Paradise - North and Oxenford - Maudsland were:
