Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Molendinar in 2021 compared to Division 11 shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 36.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.8% were one-parent families, compared with 28.8% and 13.3% respectively for Division 11.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 14.0% compared to 21.7% in Division 11 while the proportion of couples without children was 22.0% compared to 26.0% in Division 11.
