The share of Division 10's population attending educational institutions reflects the age structure of the population, as it is influenced by the number of children attending school; proximity to tertiary education, which can mean young adults leaving home to be nearer to educational facilities and; the degree to which people are seeking out educational opportunities in adulthood, especially in their late teens and early twenties.

Dominant groups
Analysis of the share of the population attending educational institutions in Division 10 in 2021 compared to Division 06 shows that there was a lower proportion attending primary school, a lower proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.
Overall, 3.8% of the population were attending primary school, 3.7% of the population were attending secondary institutions, and 8.8% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 5.0%, 5.4% and 11.8% respectively for Division 06.
The major differences between the share of the population attending learning institutions in Division 10 and Division 06 were:
- A larger percentage of persons not attending (70.0% compared to 66.8%)
- A smaller percentage of persons attending University (4.6% compared to 8.1%)
- A smaller percentage of persons attending a secondary school (any type) (3.7% compared to 5.4%)
- A smaller percentage of persons attending a Government secondary school (1.5% compared to 3.1%)
Emerging groups
From 2016 to 2021, Division 10's population increased by 4,648 people (+10.7%). This represents an average annual change of 2.06% per year over the period.
The largest changes in the number of persons attending education institutions in Division 10, between 2016 and 2021 were in those who nominated:
- TAFE/Vocational (+950 persons)
- Secondary school (+334 persons)
- Secondary - Independent (+220 persons)
- Pre-school (+167 persons)
