Dominant groups

Analysis of male individual income levels in Colac - Central in 2021 compared to Colac Otway Shire shows that there was a lower proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 5.6% of the male population earned a high income, and 32.1% earned a low income, compared with 7.5% and 29.6% respectively for Colac Otway Shire.
