Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Black Rock in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (545 females or 34.2%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (306 females or 19.2%)
  • Managers (290 females or 18.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,141 females in total or 71.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Sandringham employed 35.9% in Professionals; 16.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 19.2% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Black Rock and Sandringham were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (19.2% compared to 16.8%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (34.2% compared to 35.9%)
