Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Hampton in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,275 females or 37.6%)
  • Managers (640 females or 18.9%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (598 females or 17.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,513 females in total or 74.0% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Hampton East employed 32.1% in Professionals; 17.4% in Managers; and 18.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Hampton and Hampton East were:
