Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Brighton East in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (679 males or 16.7%)
  • Construction (450 males or 11.1%)
  • Retail Trade (347 males or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,476 males in total or 36.4% of the total employed male resident population.
