Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North West Precinct in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (2,444 people or 26.0%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,377 people or 14.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,336 people or 14.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,157 people in total or 54.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Banyule employed 32.8% in Professionals; 11.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 13.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
