Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Castlecrag in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (336 people or 23.0%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (204 people or 14.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (195 people or 13.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 735 people in total or 50.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Willoughby City employed 18.7% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 12.8% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 12.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
