Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Ward D in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (3,246 people or 13.6%)
- Education and Training (2,576 people or 10.8%)
- Construction (2,539 people or 10.6%)
In combination, these three industries employed 8,361 people in total or 35.0% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Sutherland Shire employed 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.1% in Education and Training; and 11.3% in Construction.
