Analysis of the highest level of schooling attained by the female population in Randwick City in 2021 compared to Woollahra Municipal Council area shows that there was a higher proportion of females who had left school at an early level (Year 10 or less) and a lower proportion of females who completed Year 12 or equivalent.
Overall, 16.1% of the female population left school at Year 10 or below, and 74.1% went on to complete Year 12 or equivalent, compared with 9.6% and 80.9% respectively for Woollahra Municipal Council area.
The major differences between the level of schooling attained by the female population in Randwick City and Woollahra Municipal Council area were:
- A larger percentage of females who completed year 10 or equivalent (9.9% compared to 6.6%)
- A larger percentage of females who completed year 8 or below (2.6% compared to 1.0%)
- A smaller percentage of females who completed year 12 or equivalent (74.1% compared to 80.9%)
