- Professionals (16,227 people or 35.0%)
- Managers (9,124 people or 19.7%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (6,615 people or 14.3%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 31,966 people in total or 69.0% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, SSROC region employed 32.9% in Professionals; 16.4% in Managers; and 13.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Canada Bay City and SSROC region were:
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Managers (19.7% compared to 16.4%)
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Professionals (35.0% compared to 32.9%)
- A smaller percentage of persons employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (7.0% compared to 8.7%)
- A smaller percentage of persons employed as Labourers (4.3% compared to 5.9%)
