Analysis of the male five year age groups of Canada Bay City in 2021 compared to SSROC region shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 16.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 15.9% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 16.2% and 14.0% respectively for SSROC region.
The major differences between the male age structure of Canada Bay City and SSROC region were:
- A larger percentage of males aged 70 to 74 (4.2% compared to 3.6%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 25 to 29 (7.7% compared to 9.4%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 20 to 24 (6.4% compared to 7.4%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 30 to 34 (9.0% compared to 9.5%)
