In 2021, a total of 93.0% of the dwellings in the City of Canterbury Bankstown were occupied on Census night, compared to 93.0% in Georges River Council area. The proportion of unoccupied dwellings was 6.9%, which is similar compared to that found in Georges River Council area (7.0%).
