Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Waverley Council Area in 2021 compared to Canada Bay City shows that 76.0% of the households owned at least one car, while 17.9% did not, compared with 86.0% and 10.1% respectively in Canada Bay City.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 45.6% of the households owned one car; 23.6% owned two cars; and 6.8% owned three cars or more, compared with 44.2%; 31.0% and 10.8% respectively for Canada Bay City.
