Analysis of recent overseas arrivals attending educational institutions in the MidCoast Council in 2021 compared to Regional NSW shows that there was a lower proportion attending primary school, a similar proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.
Overall, 9.0% of recent overseas arrivals were attending primary school, 5.2% of the population were attending secondary institutions, and 8.1% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 9.7%, 5.4% and 15.8% respectively for Regional NSW.
