Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings for non-English speakers in the City of Ipswich in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Ipswich, shows that there was a lower proportion of non-English speakers in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a higher proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 4.3% of non-English speakers were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 70.3% in 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 6.4% and 56.3% for the total population in the City of Ipswich respectively.
