Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Kilsyth in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (653 females or 26.4%)
  • Education and Training (331 females or 13.4%)
  • Retail Trade (290 females or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,274 females in total or 51.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Yarra Junction - Wesburn - Millgrove employed 24.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.9% in Education and Training; and 10.8% in Retail Trade.
