Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wodonga Growth Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Public Administration and Safety (495 males or 26.8%)
  • Construction (271 males or 14.7%)
  • Manufacturing (203 males or 11.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 969 males in total or 52.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Wodonga employed 13.1% in Public Administration and Safety; 16.5% in Construction; and 15.0% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Wodonga Growth Area and the City of Wodonga were:
