Analysis of the household/family types in Wodonga Growth Area in 2021 compared to Wodonga West shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 42.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.9% were one-parent families, compared with 34.5% and 10.4% respectively for Wodonga West.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 14.6% compared to 20.2% in Wodonga West while the proportion of couples without children was 23.0% compared to 29.7% in Wodonga West.
