Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Legana - Grindelwald and District in 2021 compared to West Tamar Council area shows that 95.6% of the households owned at least one car, while 2.1% did not, compared with 92.7% and 3.0% respectively in West Tamar Council area.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 26.3% of the households owned one car; 39.0% owned two cars; and 30.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 29.4%; 36.6% and 26.7% respectively for West Tamar Council area.
