Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in the City of Subiaco in 2021 compared to Subi Centro shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 22.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 6.8% were one-parent families, compared with 12.7% and 5.3% respectively for Subi Centro.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 36.2% compared to 41.6% in Subi Centro while the proportion of couples without children was 25.1% compared to 30.7% in Subi Centro.
