Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Subiaco in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,794 people or 19.6%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,623 people or 17.7%)
  • Education and Training (972 people or 10.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,389 people in total or 48.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.8% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the City of Subiaco and Greater Perth were:
