Analysis of the household/family types in Strathfield in 2021 compared to Strathfield Council area shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 37.3% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 7.9% were one-parent families, compared with 33.0% and 8.1% respectively for Strathfield Council area.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a similar proportion of couples without children.
