The size of Mundijong area's labour force in 2021 was 1,374, of which 397 were employed part-time and 810 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Mundijong area in 2021 compared to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 95.4% of the labour force was employed, and 4.6% unemployed, compared with 96.1% and 3.9% respectively for the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
