Dominant groups

In 2021, there were 33,527 separate houses in the area, 3,325 medium density dwellings, and no high density dwellings. In addition, there were 809 caravans/cabins/houseboats in the area.

Analysis of the types of dwellings in the RDA Murraylands and Riverland region in 2021 shows that 88.3% of all dwellings were separate houses; 8.8% were medium density dwellings, and 0% were in high density dwellings, compared with 86.5%, 10.6%, and 0.2% in the Regional SA respectively.
