Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mosman Bay in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (528 people or 20.0%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (384 people or 14.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (286 people or 10.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,198 people in total or 45.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Mosman Council area employed 20.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 15.0% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 10.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
