Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mosman Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,510 males or 21.3%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (1,277 males or 18.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (463 males or 6.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,250 males in total or 45.9% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 11.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 7.1% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 6.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
