Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bacchus Marsh Region in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,886 people or 15.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,384 people or 11.0%)
  • Education and Training (1,262 people or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,532 people in total or 36.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Rural West employed 14.1% in Construction; 12.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.3% in Education and Training.
