Blackwood – Greendale – Myrniong is an area in the north-east of Moorabool, bounded to the north by Hepburn Shire and Macedon Ranges Shire. Macedon Shire also makes up part of the eastern boundary, along with neighbouring Melton Council and Djerriwarrh Creek. The southern boundary is bordered by the small areas of Merrimu – Hopetoun Park, Darley, Bacchus Marsh, Maddingley, and Mount Wallace – Parwan – Balliang. The west is bounded by Bungaree - Wallace - Gordon - Korweing, Ballan and the Werribee River.
