Overall, 33.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.9% were one-parent families, compared with 32.3% and 8.4% respectively for West Moorabool Region.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 21.6% compared to 19.8% in West Moorabool Region while the proportion of couples without children was 26.0% compared to 30.3% in West Moorabool Region.
