Dominant groups

Analysis of the females in the MidCoast Council in 2021 compared to MidCoast Council area - Total population shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a similar proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 14.0% of the females were aged between 0 and 14, and 33.4% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 14.6% and 33.2% respectively for MidCoast Council area - Total population.
