Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Templestowe in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,139 females or 30.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (814 females or 21.9%)
  • Managers (510 females or 13.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,463 females in total or 66.4% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Currawong Ward employed 32.8% in Professionals; 21.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 12.1% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Templestowe and Currawong Ward were:
