Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Yarra Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (731 females or 21.6%)
  • Education and Training (490 females or 14.5%)
  • Retail Trade (400 females or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,621 females in total or 47.8% of the total employed female resident population.
