Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Yarra Ward in 2021 compared to Waldau Ward shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.5% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 17.3% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.1% and 22.1% respectively for Waldau Ward.
