Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Templestowe Lower in 2021 compared to the City of Manningham shows that 94.3% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.4% did not, compared with 92.8% and 4.3% respectively in the City of Manningham.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a similar proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 32.5% of the households owned one car; 43.8% owned two cars; and 18.0% owned three cars or more, compared with 32.5%; 40.3% and 20.1% respectively for the City of Manningham.
