Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Norwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (342 people or 20.1%)
  • Education and Training (204 people or 12.0%)
  • Retail Trade (199 people or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 745 people in total or 43.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, St Leonards - White Hills employed 19.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.2% in Education and Training; and 9.2% in Retail Trade.
