Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Jandakot in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (200 people or 14.1%)
- Education and Training (163 people or 11.5%)
- Retail Trade (120 people or 8.5%)
In combination, these three industries employed 483 people in total or 34.1% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Hammond Park employed 15.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.0% in Education and Training; and 7.7% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Jandakot and Hammond Park were:
