Dominant groups

Analysis of the housing tenure of households of the City of Cockburn in 2021 compared to Greater Perth shows that there was a smaller proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a larger proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a smaller proportion who were renters.

Overall, 25.4% of households owned their dwelling; 45.0% were purchasing, and 24.7% were renting, compared with 27.6%, 40.5% and 26.0% respectively for Greater Perth.
