Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Kyabram in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (536 people or 16.3%)
  • Manufacturing (426 people or 13.0%)
  • Retail Trade (333 people or 10.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,295 people in total or 39.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Lockington - Gunbower and District employed 12.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 6.8% in Manufacturing; and 8.0% in Retail Trade.
