There were more female professionals in Kew in 2016 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Kew in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (2,406 females or 40.4%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,060 females or 17.8%)
- Managers (939 females or 15.8%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,405 females in total or 73.9% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Solway Ward employed 41.8% in Professionals; 19.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 14.7% in Managers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Kew and Solway Ward were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Managers (15.8% compared to 14.7%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (17.8% compared to 19.4%)
