Analysis of the household/family types in Ward 5 in 2021 compared to Blacktown City shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 40.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 16.9% were one-parent families, compared with 45.1% and 12.8% respectively for Blacktown City.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children.
