Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the City of Greater Bendigo in 2021 compared to Strathdale shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 19.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 19.1% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.2% and 23.7% respectively for Strathdale.
