Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in West Precinct in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (2,126 people or 31.6%)
  • Managers (804 people or 11.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (797 people or 11.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,727 people in total or 55.4% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Banyule employed 32.8% in Professionals; 15.2% in Managers; and 11.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of West Precinct and the City of Banyule were:
