Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in South Albury in 2021 compared to Albury City shows that 71.7% of the households owned at least one car, while 19.4% did not, compared with 87.3% and 7.1% respectively in Albury City.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.

Overall, 38.7% of the households owned one car; 24.7% owned two cars; and 8.4% owned three cars or more, compared with 36.7%; 34.7% and 15.8% respectively for Albury City.
