Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Albany in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,286 males or 25.6%)
  • Labourers (1,389 males or 15.6%)
  • Managers (1,341 males or 15.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,016 males in total or 56.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Regional WA employed 27.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 14.0% in Labourers; and 16.5% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Albany and Regional WA were:
