Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bellbridge in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (502 people or 12.1%)
  • Retail Trade (460 people or 11.1%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (457 people or 11.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,419 people in total or 34.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Wyndham employed 12.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.6% in Retail Trade; and 9.9% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Bellbridge and the City of Wyndham were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in construction (10.4% compared to 8.3%)
