Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population in City of Wodonga in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Total employed persons aged 15+ (474 people or 100.0%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (98 people or 20.7%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (91 people or 19.2%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 663 people in total or 139.9% of the employed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population.
The major differences between the occupations held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of the City of Wodonga and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of Regional VIC were:
- A larger percentage of people employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (19.2% compared to 13.4%)
- A larger percentage of people employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (20.7% compared to 18.3%)
