The size of Wellington Shire's recent overseas arriving labour force in 2021 was 356 persons, of which 110 were employed part-time and 214 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status of the recent overseas arriving population (as a percentage of the labour force) in Wellington Shire in 2021 compared to Regional VIC shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, as well as a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 94.9% of the recent overseas arriving labour force was employed, and 5.1% unemployed, compared with 93.8% and 3.1% respectively for Regional VIC.
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the recent overseas arriving population in Wellington Shire in 2021 shows that there was a higher proportion in the labour force (75.9%) compared with Regional VIC (74.7%).
